GAZETTE & HERALD: CALNE police are hunting for a flasher who exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl.
The girl was walking home at 7.45pm on Wednesday, but she was overtaken at Broken Cross by a man who ran on ahead and then disappeared behind a hedge.
When the girl drew level the man yelled 'Oi come over here,' and when she looked up she could see he was naked.
WPC Marin Hatcher, from Calne police station, said: "We are concerned because we need to rule out the possibility that we're not going to have someone out there walking the streets doing this in front of young girls.
"We don't want this to escalate into a series of offences."
The man is described as white, in his early 20s, with light brown hair. Police suspect he was wearing a blue football strip with white writing.
WPC Hatcher said the girl was very upset and warned that indecent exposure is a serious offence.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact WPC Hatcher on (01249) 654455.
