13308/1CHILDREN from village schools in the Marlborough area have been working with sculptors at the Puthall Park Sculpture Show to make their own creations.
Nearly 40 artists have their work on show at Puthall Farm on the A4 between Marlborough and Froxfield.
About five acres of farmland have been turned into an open air gallery by Melissa Cole who lives and has her sculpture workshop on the farm.
As part of the sculpture show, which runs until June 20, schools have been invited to send pupils along to sculpture workshops at Puthall, working with some of the sculptors whose work is on display.
Children from Great Bedwyn School worked with Celia Smith who showed them how to make shapes from wire, and James Aldridge encouraged the youngsters to use recycled materials to make their own flying creature sculptures.
