On June 4 I was driving down Victoria Road in Devizes, when I found myself behind a recycling truck.

I watched with amusement, as the huge queue of traffic built up, as the driver moved down the road, blocking any traffic wishing to go in either direction, as bottles, cans, newspapers etc were slowly loaded on to the truck.

When I say with amusement, it is because it seemed rather ironic that here was a vehicle performing the good act of recycling, yet causing 14 (I counted) other vehicles to follow in a line for nearly 25 minutes. How good is that for the environment?
