GAZETTE & HERALD: CLOGS will perform popular songs from famous musicals in concerts tonight and Friday.
The Chippenham Light Operatic Group will perform numbers such as New York New York, Me and My Shadow, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and The Way You Look Tonight, and proceeds will be donated to the Dorothy House Hospice.
This year CLOGS has already performed the concert twice in aid of both the Foxham Reading Rooms and the Stanton St Quintin School Association.
CLOGS is now in its 24th year with a loyal following and its annual stage production will be My Fair Lady, at the Olympiad in November.
This year CLOGs entered the Swindon Music Festival and won their class and the Festival Hill Challenge Shield. Any singers, especially tenors and basses, would be most welcome to join and should contact chairman Gill Powell.
The concert kicks off at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Haine and Smith in Emery Gate, or by calling Mrs Powell on (01249) 651095.
