TWICE winners Goatacre play old rivals Little Durnford & Fonthill in the Wilts/Dorset final of this year's NPower Village Knockout.

Club followers may be dreaming for a third return to Lord's but captain Pete Turner will be ensuring that players minds are very much on the game in hand.

The 40-over a side game starts at 2.30pm at the Goatacre ground and with Steve Lines ineligible for this year's competition Australian all-rounder Scott Curwood is the only change to Saturday's league side.

He does not play in the previous day's Glos/Wilts Division One match against Lydney in the Forest of Dean.

Lydney have also recorded two wins this season and are just two points behind the Wiltshire team.

New recruit Lines will be looking to build on his batting form of last week against Trowbridge to cement his place in the middle order. And with the return of John Wilkins, Goatacre's line-up consists of 10 batsmen who can boast centuries to their name.

Goatacre 2nd host Cinderford and captain Robin Du Boulay will want to ensure that last week's bowling display, which resulted in 47 extras, is not repeated.

Swindon face their biggest test of the season against unbeaten Glos/Wilts Division Two leaders Biddestone.

Skipper John Baden names an unchanged side from the one that swept aside Malmesbury last week, and he will be very encouraged by the form shown by his brother Paul and Matt Baker.

The seconds host Dumbleton at the County Ground, with Babbar Khan replacing the unavailable Tristran Hawkes.

And Antony Spencer will be hoping to continue his fine start to the season, currently averaging over 100 with the bat.

Alan Biggins returns to lead the thirds at home to Cherhill.
