15308/04YOUNGSTERS with special needs were given the chance to make a lot of noise during a day out organised by the Rotary Club on Wednesday.
Up to 650 children between five and 12 were nominated to take part in the Rotary Kids' Day Out at Longleat House near Warminster.
The annual event gave the chance for youngsters with special needs, from across the west Wiltshire, to go on safari and be entertained by clowns and a jazz band.
Almost 100 children were nominated from west Wiltshire and volunteers from Bradford on Avon, Westbury, Trowbridge, Melksham, Warminster and Wessex Rotary Club helped out.
Organiser Edward Barrett, of Warminster Rotary Club, said: "It is lovely to see the faces on some of the children.
