28342/2BABIES and toddlers in Bradford on Avon enjoyed their first music lessons on Wednesday.
Tunes for Tots proved a hit with the youngsters, who got to try out various instruments and sing along with their parents.
The new classes are the idea of local mum Caroline Robinson, former head of music at a college in Loughborough.
Mrs Robinson was inspired to set up the class when she saw how excited her one-year-old daughter got when she played the piano at home.
She is beginning with two sessions on Wednesday mornings Tiny Tots for babies between five and 12 months old and Toddling Tots for children from 12 months to two years old.
In the classes the children will learn to play percussion instruments, sing nursery rhymes and even start to compose their own music.
The classes are being run in conjunction with Eureka, a non-profit making company, and any proceeds will go to charities and local groups.
