A judge has issued a warrant for the arrest and detention of a 39-year-old woman who stole a pension book and used it to get cash.
Jayne Knight failed to turn up at Swindon Crown Court to face sentencing for the offence, which took place in Chippenham almost four years ago.
Knight, of Timbrell Street, Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to one count of theft, four of deception and one of attempted deception, at an earlier hearing. She admitted she stole an industrial injuries benefit book in October 2000 and cashed it four times at Lowden Post Office, Chippenham. She was arrested after a fifth attempt.
Last summer another warrant was issued for her arrest when she failed to turn up at court to face the charges.
