VICIOUS tigers and skipping lambs sped down the church aisles at Trowbridge's civic service on Sunday.
More than 200 people packed St James's Church for the mayor's annual service and were treated to an energetic display of animal frolics, as children from talent group Starry Eyes put on a show.
Mayors from across Wiltshire joined Trowbridge mayor Grace Hill. This year's theme focused on unity in diversity, with readings from the Koran and a preaching by Methodist minister the Rev John Wiggall.
Representatives from Stepping Stones Opportunity Group and Hope Nature Centre the mayor's two charities spoke about their fundraising efforts.
Trowbridge and District Youth Band provided the music, while St James' Choir performed the anthem Let All The World.
St James' hosts a five-day festival from June 16 called Celebrate.
