Dame Elizabeth Neville passed on the baton to Supt Sally Crook and Chief Insp David Peake, of Gloucestershire Constabulary yesterday as part of Operation Run for a Child, involving 50 police forces.
Thirty runners from the Wiltshire force covered a total of 25 miles in one-mile legs between Chilton Foliat and South Cerney, with money raised going to children's charity When You wish Upon a Star.
