PETER Heaton-Jones (EA, page 10, June 8) seems to have a real problem with people displaying England flags on their cars.

I would like to point out that during events like Euro 2004 people of all countries display their national flags on houses, cars and in many cases on their faces.

As one of the weak-willed sheep mentality individuals myself, can I say that we are just ordinary, law-abiding English people, who live in England and are proud of our country and want to support our country.

Anyone who doesn't like the sight of all these lovely English flags should take a long holiday, far away until Euro 2004 is over.
