BISHOPSTONE Primary School has been awarded an Artsmark silver award.
The award is given by the Arts Council England to schools which show they are committed to giving youngsters the chance to try out different kinds of arts, including design, literature, sculpture and dance.
Headteacher Sue Walton said: "I am so pleased that the Arts Council has recognised that a small school such as ours can provide such an exciting arts programme."
