30865-24TINY tots toddled and waddled in memory of a special friend. The sun beamed as children from Swindon's Leapfrog nursery completed laps of their play area in aid of the Abby Smith Cancer Fund.
Little Abby attended the Highdown Way nursery before she died of leukaemia in July 2002, aged three.
Now cash is being raised in her memory to support the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement (Calm) and the children's cancer unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Morag Puffett, deputy manager of the nursery, said: "The children did very well.
"Abby is very special to the nursery.
"She enjoyed coming here, and we enjoyed having her.
"We like to keep her memory alive.
"The children say she is sleeping with the angels."
