JUST four members of the public turned up to a meeting to discuss the future of the Seven Fields Nature Reserve.
Volunteers who run the wildlife habitat in Penhill have now rescheduled the event.
Members of the committee, which helps run the reserve, held their annual general meeting last week.
Although the committee members turned up, they were unable to proceed because of the poor turnout at Haydon parish council chamber.
Committee member Marilyn Beale said: "It was our worst ever turn out.
"We usually get 50 or 60 people.Because of this it didn't make sense to proceed with the meeting.
"We desperately need other people to come forward to help maintain the reserve which has to be looked after."
Recently the group has clashed with Swindon Council over the mainten-ance of the 100-acre reserve.
The meeting will now be held in September when it is hoped more people attend.
