SWINDON & District Men's Bowling Association recorded a comprehensive victory over the S&D Ladies BA in their annual match.
The ladies had taken the honours in the previous two meetings, but their hopes of a treble were dashed this year as they were crushed by 40 shots.
Men's president Ken Downton (Shrivenham) led his side to an easy 130-90 success at Wroughton.
The men took the honours on four of the six rinks and drew on another.
The ladies' sole success came on rink five, where June Johns led her quartet to a two-shot win.
In the battle of the respective S&D presidents on rink three, it was Downton who triumphed over the quartet that included Wootton Bassett's Jan Charles.
Downton's rink registered a 22-shot victory which was easily the biggest by the men's team.
S&D men are back in action again at Wroughton in a fortnight's time when they continue their friendlies with a match against Southampton & District BA on Sunday, June 27 (3pm).
