WOOTTON Bassett Chamber of Commerce has hailed the opening of a new business as another step on the way to revitalising the town.
The Guelder Rose has just opened for business at the west end of Wootton Bassett High Street.
Proprietor Juillet Hammer has already worked in the area and is a member of the chamber, but now has a permanent base in the town.
Chamber of Commerce president Bridgett Tubb said: "The chamber is delighted that she is now based in Wootton Bassett it's another step in revitalising our town centre. She is such a talented young lady."
Juillet, whose husband Cass helped set up the venture, is stocking a selection of attractive gifts for all occasions, as well as fresh and artificial flowers and foliage, arrangements to order, and wedding bouquets and headdresses."
The Guelder Rose specialises in exotic blooms.
Juillet trained as a florist after leaving school in 1976 and has worked in London and Switzerland.
