A LONDON jeweller who makes bird sculptures out of cupcake tins and mini tractor wheels is to produce a piece of art for the Cotswold Water Park.
Cathy Miles, said to be one of the art world's bright new names, has won the £4,000 commission for an installation at the park's Gateway Centre.
Cathy, who trained as a silversmith and jeweller in London creates three-dimensional wall drawings which aim to capture bird life in a fresh way.
She describes the characters in her drawings as "humans in bird suits", which gossip, grumble, bicker and acquire unusual habits.
Examples of Cathy's work will be displayed in the Cotswold Water Park Gateway Centre over the summer.
