North Swindon MP Michael WillsBIRDS, barbecues and a band will form the entertainment at the official opening of a new Sure Start building later this week.
The celebrations will mark Sure Start's first open day in its new premises.
North Swindon MP Michael Wills will officially launch the event on Friday.
It will give parents in Penhill and Pinehurst the chance to see the new facilities on offer at the Ever-leigh Road site.
Visitors will be treated to falconry exhibitions, a barbecue and musical entertainment from a steel band.
Sure Start was set up in Swindon two years ago as part of a Government initiative to give young families help and support.
Previously based in the Pinehurst Peoples' Centre, it has now moved into a refurbished community centre that has been redesigned with the help of parents.
The new premises are next door to the Bright Start nursery.
The open day on Friday runs from noon to 3pm.
