GIPSY Lane's resident Santa, John Flatt, and wife Jayne have handed over almost £1,000 to the Prospect Hospice after two back garden fund-raising events.
The couple, who featured in the Advertiser six months ago when they turned their garden into Father Christmas's grotto, raised more than £1,500 for the hospice with two tabletop sales.
"It was very successful," said Mrs Flatt.
"And we still have some boxes of books and bric-a-brac that we didn't have time to put out for sale."
They began raising cash for the charity because Jayne's mother died at the hospice six years ago.
