Despite a rain-delayed opening, Cirencester Colts got their Evening League season off to a perfect start with a nine-wicket win over Minety.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Minety came out of the blocks quickly and after eight eight-ball overs the visitors were 60-0.
However Cirencester began to pull the game back and the visitors subsided to 92-6 from their 15 overs, despite the conditions making fielding very tough.
In reply, Cirencester got off to a steady start but Rodrigues and Dan Robbins gradually increased the scoring rate and they clinched victory by nine wickets with four overs to spare.
