FAIRFORD had another convincing win against Tewkesbury.
Veteran Gray shone with the bat in a six-wicket rout which now places Fairford second in the league.
Fairford again had the perfect start, Bird taking two early wickets.
But at the half-way point Tewkesbury had reached 102-2 and looked set for a big score.
That they did not was due to Moreing and the returning Bennett.
The innings was finished off in some style by Newport and Bird as Tewkesbury collapsed to 175 all out, their last eight wickets falling for just 65 runs off the last 23 overs.
Town's reply was again explosive, Townsend punishing anything loose before being beaten by a low delivery.
Gray joined captain Leadbeater and the pair looked at ease against an ordinary attack, taking the score to 63 before lack of bounce accounted for Leadbeater.
Gray increased the tempo, and in addition to some quick running, was to strike eight fours in his unbeaten 70.
Greener again showed how to strike the ball, making light of the large outfield as he passed 300 runs for the season in his distinctive style.
The loss of Greener near the finish could not take the gloss off another impressive Fairford win.
