CIRENCESTER'S Donny Rodrigues hit straight sixes in the second and third overs and then raced to a magnificent 50 off 29 balls in the ninth over against Arcadians.
He was then bowled, and eight overs later, the home team had struggled to 75 -3.
They then regrouped around Dominic Jeffcott (42) who played the anchor role. Skipper Andy Reynolds (40) and a welcome return to form by Andy Cooper (32) saw Cirencester to a very respectable 204-9.
Arcadians struggled to score quickly enough against niggardly home bowling, with veteran left armer John Turton producing excellent figures of 12 overs for only 30 runs.
Reynolds rounded off a real captain's performance with 4-36 for a convincing victory by 54 runs that put Cirencester in fourth place in the table.
