CORSHAM won this local derby clash in the first round of the Wiltshire Cricket Board 20-over Knockout Cup by six wickets on Thursday.
Devizes won the toss and elected to bat first at Corsham's Station Road ground. Opener Hodder top scored for Devizes with 31 runs and Gaiger (15) and Langan (16) also contributed to their total of 114-9 after their 20 overs.
Foley opened the Corsham batting strongly and made 40 runs before being removed by Hickey.
Aphale scored 19 runs but it was Clifford (14 not out) and Dennett (9 not out) who saw Corsham across the finish line. They won with a total of 118-4.
