CHIPPENHAM U11 had an impressive 130-run victory at Devizes. Chippenham got off to a fine start through Josh Bull (55 not out) and Brad Dawson (29). Uzi Qureshi then struck a quick 49 not out to take Chippenham to 163-1 in their 20 overs.
Devizes had no reply to accurate Chippenham bowling. Ed McCormack in his first game took 2-10 and the other main wicket takers were Jack Young (2-10), Andy Edwards (92-3), and Dawson (2-6) as Devizes crashed out for 31.
Chippenham U13s' James Vince (40) got the visitors off to a flying start at Bradford. Tom Young (59 not out off 49 balls) and Marcus Brown (99 not out off 52 balls) took Chippenham to 220-2.
Bradford managed 80-6 in reply.
Chippenham U13s' batting let them down in the County Cup quarter-final at Biddestone. Martin Sawyer (31 retired) batted well for Biddestone as the home side posted 81-4 in their 20 overs.
Captain James Vince (30 retired) led the Chippenham reply but the other batting faltered against accurate bowling from Paul Walden (4-9) and Joshua Boulton (3-19). Chippenham collapsed to 71 all out in 14.2 overs.
Chippenham U15 returned to winning ways with a 61 run victory at home to Frome. Liam Dawson (60 including 8 fours) and Tim Rowson (20) gave Chippenham a fine start as Chippenham reached 127-3 in their 20 overs. E Neal (23) got Frome off to a flying start before he was out to an outstanding catch by Jon Day. The batsmen then faltered against the Zurain Qureshi who took 4-4 in his four overs as Frome were dismissed for 66.
