SOUTH Wilts made it four league victories in a row when they beat leaders Havant on Saturday by just 13 runs.
Skipper Rob Wade hit a rock solid 77 as he helped his side recover from a patchy start to post a target of 233.
A superb all-round effort in the field proved decisive with Joe Cranch holding five catches.
The hosts were looking good on 112-2 but Lysander Wolf claimed the scalp of Richard Hindley to break up a useful partnership with Havant skipper Andy Perry who went on to score 88.
His departure, to a fine catch by Jason Laney at wide slip, proved vital.
But as Havant edged closer to their target, South Wilts kept their cool to wrap up the innings with Havant 13 short.
On Saturday South Wilts entertain Portsmouth.
