CASTLE Combe Colts did the double in the blistering heat at the fourth annual Wootton Bassett Town six-a-side tournament.
The Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League outfit did the business in the U9 and U13 categories but both of their respective finals went to the wire.
The U9s won on the golden goal rule against hosts Wootton Bassett Town A after Charlie Austin headed Castle Combe to victory.
The final had limited chances before Austin rose to head past Ellis Embling after a dangerous corner.
Combe also prevented an all-Bassett final after seeing off the B team with another golden goal in the semis.
The U13 side won in equally tense fashion, defeating Highworth Juniors in the fourth round of sudden death penalties.
The game itself was close with few chances the best falling to Ryan Thomas of Highworth.
After both keepers missed their spot kicks it was back to stage one as Castle Combe scored before Highworth put the decisive penalty wide of the post.
In the U12s tournament, FC Chippenham A triumphed over Shaw with a solitary first half goal from near the half way line.
This was the sides second meeting in the tournament after FC Chippenham beat Shaw 3-0 in the earlier tie.
Henry Trass scored a dramatic golden goal for Shaw in the Under 11's final after a goalless normal period.
Trass headed in from a Dominic Rekowski cross with seconds to go. Liden were unlucky though as the Shaw defence held to earn extra time but it was Shaw who went away victors and finished the tournament unbeaten.
Cricklade claimed the U7 Sportsmanship Trophy after earning a near perfect of 9.8 out of ten from their five games.
Lydiard Youth A lifted the keenly contested U8 Sportsmanship trophy after averaging 9.8 marks out of ten from their five games.
Gloucester City Girls won both the U12 and U14 girls tournaments.
The U12s came through 3-1 on penalties against Swindon Badgers in a game which ended deadlocked after extra time.
This meant the side had finished the tournament with six wins out of six.
Jodie Hennessy struck twice as the U14 side claimed a 2-0 victory over Chippenham Town and again finished up dropping no points in the tournament.
Shrewton United beat Bristol City JSC 3-2 on penalties to lift the U10 title after the game ended up 0-0 after extra time.
Shrewton also reached the final on penalties after seeing off Castle Combe by the same score.
