Carnival queen Sarah Fennell leads Bromham Carnival procession this weekend in a pony and trap.
Sarah, whose sister Jenny was carnival queen some years ago, will be followed by the butterfly queen Sophie Watchman in an open top car.
Carnival prince George Paget and princess Eleanor Sims will be behind in another vehicle in the procession on Saturday.
Devizes Samba Band, also known as Oi Sambistas!, will be in the procession and afterwards will give a demonstration on the Jubilee Field.
Residents have been taking part in carnival events for the past week and for many the highlight is the procession .
Last year's procession was one of the best ever with 11 floats taking part and numerous people walking in the procession.
Carnival chairman Pete Davis said: "The carnival has grown over the years and is very well supported by the village.
"We put on a variety of events to appeal to people of all ages. The procession attracts a lot of spectators.
"We can have up to 3,000 people visiting the village for the procession because it has a good reputation and the participants put a lot of effort into designing their floats.
"We get people from the local area and other parts of Wiltshire and sometimes even further afield.
"People who were born in or close to Bromham and have moved away often come back to see the carnival procession."
Shields and certificates are presented for the winning floats.
The procession starts at 2pm from The Pound Field and will process through the village to the Jubilee Field by the social centre.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal will receive a donation from money collected during the carnival.
The rest of the money raised will go to other good causes to be decided upon after the carnival is over.
On Sunday a footpath walk around the village starts at 2pm in the High Street car park.
The carnival ends with songs of praise at St Nicholas Church at 6.30pm.
Other carnival events include a quiz at the Greyhound pub tonight, and tomorrow the Wednesday Club is organising a dance and games at the social centre at 8pm.
Last week carnival events included a mystery tour to Longleat and a quiz about music at the Oliver Cromwell pub.
Other events were a teddy bears' picnic on the Jubilee Field followed by a treasure hunt for adults in which a total of 14 cars took part. Afterwards participants enjoyed a barbecue.
