Stratton Rovers (formerly TRAX Football Club) will have two teams in the Wiltshire League next season.
Pre-season training starts on July 6 at the Premier Club in Stratton (6.45pm).
First team manager Mick Hartley said: "Stratton Rovers was the first team in the district and had many successful seasons representing the Stratton area.
"We have decided to resurrect this proud name and hope to follow in their success for many seasons to come.
"Our home will be at Swindon's premier football venue, located at the Premier Club Stratton, which will hopefully encourage the local community to support their team at grass roots level."
Players old and new will be welcome, and the club would like to hear from anyone associated with the original Stratton Rovers team. Contact Pat on 07746 921215.
