Pet shop worker Rachel Clark is appealing for the owner of a lost parrot to contact her.
The parrot which is not the missing African Grey featured in yesterday's Advertiser was brought to Rachel's Pet Shop and Reptile Ranch, in Faringdon, about three weeks ago and has been there ever since.
"No one has come to claim it and it's possible it may have come from outside the Oxford and Wiltshire area," said Rachel.
When the parrot was brought in to the shop, by a woman who had found it in her garden, it was hungry and thirsty. But in the past few weeks it has regained its health and strength.
"I hope we can find its family sooner rather than later because I'll get attached to it and find it hard to give up," said Rachel.
Anyone who believes the parrot may be theirs can call the pet shop on 01367 244828.
