AN ENTERPRISING teenager has launched his own business.
The 17-year-old student, who is coming to the end of his first year at New College, has started a scheme called Photo Finish.
Jon scans in the original image to his computer, and then works his magic on it.
Jon, of Haydon Wick, says he can help if a picture has faded, or is scratched, or simply needs some background removing.
He said: "I was doing a few things for my mum to put up on the wall.
They all had something wrong with them, so I scanned them in and altered them.
"Then someone else saw the pictures, and asked if I could help." So far Jon has improved wedding pictures by sharpening colour, removing blemishes, and removing scratches, and in one case even removed some background.
Although he does not have a price list, he needs donations to cover the cost of printing and photographic quality.
Jon is hoping to develop both his website and the service over the summer, and eventually would like to get some kind of creative job with the computer industry.
More details are available at www.photofinish.tk, and Jon can be reached at jonrichards@photofinish.co.uk
