GAZETTE & HERALD: HEARTBROKEN cat owner Julia Cosgrove will celebrate her 32nd birthday on Sunday, but all she wants is for her missing moggy Rocky to come home.
Ms Cosgrove, of Pewsham, Chippenham, lost Rocky when she was taking him to see the vet last Monday.
She has been scouring the gardens in the area where he was last seen and even managed to track him down once but the frightened ex-rescue cat fled.
Ms Cosgrove, who works in the finance department at the Olympiad, acquired Rocky two years ago after he was taken to a vets, where her sister works, following an accident.
"He recovered well and came to live with me, but as a result of his accident he has always been very timid," said Ms Cosgrove.
"Last Monday I was taking him into the Hale Veterinary Surgery in Langley Road, when he jumped out of his carrier and raced across the car park and over a high wall.
"I tried to coax him down but I could see he was terrified."
Ms Cosgrove has put up posters and distributed leaflets in the area around Tugela Road where he ran off.
She saw him briefly in a garden but he got spooked and ran away again.
