GAZETTE & HERALD: St Peter's Primary School in Chippenham is hosting an art exhibition of children's work tonight for one night only.
The exhibition is the result of a spring art project funded by the Borough Land's trust.
Each of the nine classes in the school produced a group piece, which will hang on permanent display in the school hall. Alongside the nine pieces, each child made an individual painting.
Artist Alexandra Walker was invited to work on the project, which is based on the stories from the book of Genesis from the Bible.
Each class chose a different theme so the display ranges from stories of the Creation to Joseph's multi-coloured coat. Ms Walker will be giving a short talk about the project on the evening and visitors will be able to see the 250 pieces of artwork.
She said: "It was a pleasure to work on this project with the children. They were full of enthusiasm for the subject and had lots of exciting ideas."
The exhibition opens at 7pm and closes at 9pm.
