15324AGILE youngsters scooped medals in the Wiltshire novice gymnastics championships. Georgia Cahill, six, was the youngest of eight gymnasts to strike gold.
Coach Sue Clark said: "They were really chuffed to bits, especially Georgia. It was her first competition.
"We are really pleased with them."
Georgia, who has been learning gymnastics for about a year at the West Wilts Esprit Gymnastics Club, based in the Trowbridge Sports Centre, was tested on her floor and vault work.
Also winning gold medals were Bronte Cavalla, competing in the seven to eight age category and Kimberley Wyllie, in the nine to 10 age group.
The older girls were tested on their bar and beam work as well as their expertise in floor and vault work.
Amelia Browne, Chay Harrison and Kim Davis won silver medals at the event, which took place at the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics, Melksham, on June 6.
Katie Rutland and Emily Wyllie won bronze medals.
The girls practice at the Trowbridge Sports Centre. Altogether 36 girls took part in the competition.
Ms Clark said the girls were quite nervous before the competition.
To win a medal they had to make sure all their moves were perfect, not missing any out or wobbling.
