SOMEONE in west Wiltshire is sitting on a fortune without even realising it. A mystery ticketholder has won £77,370 on the Lotto but has yet to come forward and claim their prize.
The unknown person matched five numbers plus the bonus ball in the draw that took place on May 8, the same weekend another winner from Wiltshire finally claimed their £14.2 million prize a month after hitting the jackpot.
The winning Lotto numbers on Saturday May 8 were 14, 17, 23, 28, 42, 49 and the bonus number 5 and the ticketholder has until 11pm on November 4 to claim their prize.
If the deadline is passed and no claim is made the money will instead go to the Good Causes fund.
Camelot's Jacquie Wilson said: "We are really keen to find the ticketholder and to unite them with their prize. The weather was still quite cold that weekend, so the ticket could be in the pocket of a raincoat or jacket, or it could be hiding in a drawer or down the back of a sofa.
"I would urge everyone to check very carefully anywhere they think a ticket could have got to in wallets, through receipts and paper work, a few minutes' searching could deliver a very good reward."
