TROWBRIDGE residents are looking forward to a visit from wrestler Hulk Hogan's legendary opponent Jake The Snake at a fun day this Sunday.
The ferocious grappler will travel from Northampton to the Longfield Community Centre especially for the event.
Andy Purnell, chairman of the Longmeadow Residents' Forum, which organised the event, said: "We hope as many people as possible will come along.
"I expect Jake will do a lot of shouting and there will be a bit of bravado.
"There may even be some wrestling."
He was put in touch with Jake The Snake by a wrestling club that practises in the community centre, and was delighted when he agreed to come along.
The fun day will kick off at 3pm.
There will be entertainment from local performers Starry Eyes as well as karaoke, a barbecue, face painting, raffles, a puppet show and a half-hour show by the local majorettes.
For adults there will also be a licensed bar.
The event is expected to finish at 10pm. For more information telephone Mr Purnell on 07970 564461.
