UPLANDS School in Swindon has won the secondary schools division of a National Doodle Day competition.
The school was one of over 600 in the UK that participated in the event earlier this year in aid of charities Epilepsy Action and the Neurofibromatosis Association.
On Thursday the school will be presented with its prize of computer equipment.
A doodle by pupil Dainah Hawkins was chosen to represent the school and it will appear on the framed certificate signed by Doodle Day patron Terry Wogan (pictured above).
Over 350 celebrity doodles appeared in an exhibition alongside winning doodles from around the country and a selection is set to feature in a National Doodle Day book to raise additional funds.
An on-line auction of celebrity doodles raised over £15,000 for the two charities.
