POLICE say fans behaved perfectly after the game.
Taking time out from his patrol along Fleet Street, Inspector Wayne Smith said: "People are very happy following this result and so far we have come across no problems. Fans have been leaving the pubs and clubs sensibly it's a good result for us too."
Swindon Police's new £38,000 surveillance van took a prominent position along the street where many fans watched the big match.
On the eve of the game, Swindon Police had promised to come down hard on troublemakers.
