Young people, the homeless and elderly groups could gain thousands of pounds in grant aid.
A lunch is planned for community groups next week, which will offer information about securing up to £10,000 in funding.
Voluntary Action Swindon is hosting the event, in conjunction with the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation, on Tuesday, June 22.
The foundation has a total of £500,000 to give away.
The money is intended for voluntary groups working with people in need around Swindon and Wiltshire.
Particular attention is given to organisations helping vulnerable people develop their potential and overcome problems and barriers.
The lunch will be attended by Jen Wildblood, a representative of the foundation.
She will be on hand to talk to groups and offer information about the work of the foundation and advice on securing aid.
It will be held in the lounge at Broad Green Community Centre, in Salisbury Street, at noon. For more information call 01380 729284.
