I must write in response to a letter in the EA on June 15, from Name and Address Supplied, of Thorney Park, referring to children of three and four years of age playing at the bus stop on the estate.
Perhaps this person should have thought more about the consequences, before spouting off and putting pen to paper. Why did this letter writer not take out a full page advertisement to all perverts and paedophiles to advertise this fact?
Ninety-nine per cent of the children on the estate are known to most of the parents on the estate. We all look out for one another's children, there are very few three or four year olds playing at the bus stop and I have seen very few at the park on their own, a parent or much older child is usually in the vicinity.
If Name and Address Supplied is so concerned, then they should print their name and address, let us all know who they are and let us all have a fair discussion on the matter.
Otherwise, I suggest that they wind their neck in and keep their stupid and dangerous statements to themselves. I am not afraid to have my name and address published.
