BUILDING firm Bluestone, which has offices in Ashworth Road, Swindon, is celebrating new contracts in and around Swindon worth more than £1 million.
The work includes a project to carry out internal refurbishment and roofing work at the Bible Society in Westlea, converting a petrol station and garage workshop into two shops for Majestic Wines in Marlborough, and building four new classrooms and associated facilities at Oliver Tompkins Junior School in Toothill.
In total, the work is worth £1.3 million.
Bluestone regional managing director John Rawlinson said: "We are delighted with these new opportunities to develop relationships with local businesses and organisations.
"The local economy is embarking on a period of growth, which, combined with ongoing Government investment in public sector services, is helping us develop our business in the area."
Bluestone specialises in construction for private and public sector clients including education, health, commercial retail and residential building work.
