Malmesbury, with a game in hand on the leaders, continued their challenge for the North Wilts Junior League Under 11 section with a comprehensive 45-run victory at Cannings.
Opener Matthew Beck (58 not out) batted throughout the Malmesbury innings as the visitors posted 112-4 in their 20 overs.
Beck received valuable support from Tom Dally (17).
Anthony Cole then led the Malmesbury attack taking 3-4 in three overs as Cannings totalled 67-8 in reply.
Corsham retained top position with an eight-run victory at Biddestone. Edward Wilson (15) was the leading Corsham batsman as the visitors made 74-5 in their 20 overs, Liam Boulton taking 3-4.
Biddestone made a spirited effort to reach the Corsham target led again by Boulton (15 not out).
Chippenham moved to within four points of Corsham following a 35-run victory at Shrivenham.
A fine opening partnership between Guy Brothwood (55 not out) and Joshua Bull (38) took Chippenham on their way to a daunting 118-2 in their 20 overs.
Scott Winskill took 2-12 for the home side and, in reply, only William Snell (18) and Elliott Winskill (15 not out) offered resistance as they finished on 83-8.
Haynes (32) and Stewart Windsor (16) gave Calne a solid start at Wootton Bassett and the visitors went on to make 76-3.
Joshua Reynolds bowled well for Bassett taking 2-7 in his four overs.
Benjamin Bastock (2-10) made early inroads into the Bassett batting but a fine innings of 25 not out from Callum Wright saw Bassett home with five overs and five wickets in hand.
