A GROUP called Pandemonium will be raising the roof at a village fete near Faringdon this weekend.
The little village of Shellingford is holding its fete on Saturday.
It will be held on the extensive school grounds and community hall and will be opened at 2pm.
Pandemonium will perform traditional folk and ceilidh music on guitar, mandolin, concertina, recorder, melodeon and percussion.
There will also be a bouncy castle, a lucky dip and pottery wheel demonstrations.
Bowling and other competitions will be available and games and stalls will be on offer including favourites such as cakes, plants and tombola, books and bric-a-brac.
Cream teas, ice creams and cold drinks will be served throughout the afternoon. A prize draw promises £100 and a hamper.
Entry is 50p for adults and free for children, and proceeds from the event will go to St Faith's Church restoration fund.
