Herefordshire v Wiltshire: WILTSHIRE benefited from a rain-interrupted day on Sunday and booked their place in the quarter-finals.
Brian White's side took full advantage of the regulations for matches interrupted by rain to record a four-wicket victory against Herefordshire.
They have now earned themselves a showdown with Dorset at Dean Park, Bournemouth, on July 4.
Neil Shardlow, again captaining the side in the continued absence of Russell Rowe, won the toss and asked the home side to bat.
Kevin Nash (3-57) and Toby Sharpe (1-35) had reduced Hereford to 40-4 before Martin McCague (57) and Chris Boroughs (21) came together.
At the end of their innings Hereford were all out for 216 in the 50th over. Richard Bedbrook took 2-25 for the visitors.
Wiltshire started their batting poorly and when the break for rain came they were 62-5 off 16 overs.
When play resumed the target was reduced to 113 off 26 overs and so they required 51 off 10 overs.
This was achieved with the loss of one further wicket and Richard Bedbrook finished on 39 not out.
Wiltshire's next game is a Championship match against Wales Minor Counties.
The three-day game will start on Sunday June 27 and will be played at South Wilts Cricket Club in Salisbury.
Russell Rowe hopes to be back to captain the side which includes the 17-year-old South Wilts all rounder James Hayward who is in the senior squad for the first time.
Also selected is former captain Steve Perrin for what will be his 100th Championship appearance for Wiltshire.
After two matches Wiltshire are fourth in the Western Division having won one match and drawn the other while Wales having won both of their matches are in second place.
