ROAD safety issues dominated the latest meeting of Walcot's Neighbourhood Safety Team.
Householders complained that the area's streets were clogged with cars left by town centre commuters.
Jim Wiltshire, of Swindon Council's crime and disorder unit, was at the meeting.
He said: "It's causing problems for other road users, and leading to safety being compromised.
"We will be inviting officers from Swindon Council's traffic management team to the next meeting to talk about the problem."
Neighbourhood Safety Teams (NeSTs) are designed to reduce the fear of crime and foster community spirit.
The Walcot NeST needs more people to join. For details, call Mr Wiltshire on 466509.
