A MUSEUM in Swindon wants to collect memories and stories about Swindon during the war to coincide with an exhibition about that period.
The Swindon Museum and Art Gallery in Bath Road has an exhibition about the Second World War until the end of August.
While the exhibition is open, the museum wants to get in touch with people who lived through that time.
The stories that are collected may be added to the display or used to produce a booklet of wartime memories. If you have any memories of Swindon during the Second World War and are willing to take part in a recorded interview about them then please contact the museum.
If there is a high response, it might take some time to arrange an interview. Participants will also have to sign a permission form so the museum can use recordings as it wishes. Contact the museum on 01793 466556.
