STRAWBERRIES are on the menu at a garden party in aid of the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
Members of Macmillan Cancer Relief's Marlborough committee are planning the party on Saturday at 2.30pm, in Paddy and John Marsh's home, Og-Vue, in Poulton Hill, Marlborough.
Former nurse Paddy, 75, said: "We hold the party every summer and it's always a popular event.
"This year we are hoping to see some new faces.
"The appeal is such a worthwhile cause and whenever we hold collections we get a wonderful response from people.
"We are only a small committee but we hope we make a big difference."
The party costs £4, which includes a cream tea with strawberries, sandwiches and home made cakes.
