CEDRIC Norton, chairman of the Friends of Marshfield Road Surgery, Chippenham has received a communication from Stephen Golledge, Acting chief executive of Kennet and North Wiltshire Primary Care Trust,
declining an invitation to attend a patients' meeting at Sheldon School on July 7.
I write on behalf of the patients who were given an unsatisfactory answer to their questions, at the meeting held at this venue on April 20.
A question number 17 regarding finance the PCT could not find it, had a hurried discussion between themselves and decided they had to leave. There were many questions remaining.
This was the reason for the invitation given by Cedric Norton.
In conclusion I remind Mr Boucher of his letter in the Gazette and Herald, in February, in which he described his chief executives as able and dedicated public servants.
Your readers will judge if these servants give value when they are available.
