NORTH WILTS JUNIOR CRICKET LEAGUE: CORSHAM retained their leading position in the under 11s division with an eight run victory at Biddestone.
Edward Wilson (15) was the leading Corsham batsman as the visitors made 74-5 in their 20 overs.
Biddestone made a spirited effort to reach the Corsham target, but finished just short on 66-5.

Chippenham moved to within four points of Corsham following a 35 run victory at Shrivenham.
A fine opening partnership between Guy Brothwood (55 not out) and Joshua Bull (38) took Chippenham well on their way to a daunting 118-2 in their 20 overs.
In reply only William Snell (18) and Elliott Winskill (15 not out) offered much resistance against accurate Chippenham bowling, led by Andrew Edwards (2-3) and Guy Brothwood (2-9). Shrivenham finished on 83-8.

Malmesbury, with a game in hand on the leaders, continued their challenge with a comprehensive 45 run victory at Cannings.
(Cannings 3 pts, Malmesbury 17 pts).
Calne were given a solid start by J Haynes (32) and Stewart Windsor (16) at Wootton Bassett and the visitors went on to make 76-3.
Benjamin Bastock (2-10) made early inroads into the Bassett batting but a fine innings of 25 not out from Callum Wright saw Bassett home with five overs and five wickets in hand.
