HEROES from children's stories were brought to life at Sutton Veny Primary School last week.
Pupils and teachers dressed as characters from books including Harry Potter and The Witches on Friday for the culmination of the school's arts week.
Youngsters also took part in Shakespeare workshops, helping to put on a performance of The Tempest and heard a talk from children's author Clive Dickinson.
Assistant headteacher Jill Adams said: "We had a wonderful talk with Clive Dickinson and the children were fascinated because this really brought it life.
"The Young Shakespeare Company were wonderful too you hope that this is positive for the children and they will have happy memories of Shakespeare later in life and education."
The school also put on 20 art activities including painting, sewing and making flowers.
