28387/1GIRL Guides have been busy preparing for their trip to one of four Guide centres in the world.
The group of 36 includes leaders, Guides and senior section members, mainly from the 1st Studley Guides and 3rd Trowbridge Guides.
They will head off by coach at 5am to Adelboden in Switzerland on July 30.
The town is home to one of the four centres of the World Association of Girl Guides. The others are in Mexico, India and London.
Guide leader in charge of the trip, Marion Davies, said: "We are very excited and our girls are counting down the days."
They have raised £5,500 for the trip, with fundraising events such as quiz evenings, a Christmas fair, a jumble sale and bag packing at Asda.
Mrs Davies hopes the girls will be able to meets guides from all over the world.
The group will take part in excursions and activities, such as walks and visits, organised by Our Chalet.
They hope to make it to the top of nearby mountain Jungfrau.
